When your inquiry comes in, Eric — a 13-year SMP industry veteran and client himself — responds personally. He learns your situation, answers your questions, and makes sure you're fully informed before your first session ever begins.
Then it's Jim from start to finish.

This is where we create the foundation of your future self. For men receiving a new hairline, we always start conservative, in both color and follicle spacing. However, the overall shape of your treatment is now visible and outlined.

This is where your new look really starts to come to life! Pigment from session 1 has settled and now we add fullness to the look. We make any adjustments to the hair line or pigment shade as we continue to blend the impressions into existing hair and the tattooed follicles from session 1.
Session 2 is typically spaced 10-14 days after session 1 depending on your treatment.

In session 3 we add more density, blend, and make any final changes to the hairline as needed.
Adding the finishing touches and details for a flawless and natural look. This session is spaced 2-4 weeks after session 2.

Now that you lived in your new look for a year. Adding to our “guaranteed” results. We request that you come back in to reassess how your treatment healed fully. As a 4th or possible 5th session, depending on your treatment, we touch up any areas that may have faded and give it one last layer if needed*. This session is FREE of charge.

How many sessions will I need?
Most men complete their treatment in 3 to 4 sessions. The exact number depends on your level of hair loss, skin type, and desired density. Every treatment plan is built around you — not a one-size-fits-all formula.
Will it look natural?
That's the whole point. Jim's 20+ years as a master barber means he understands hairlines at a level most SMP artists never reach. Every follicle placement, every pigment blend, every hairline curve is deliberate. The goal is that nobody knows — they just think you shaved your head.
Does SMP work for receding hairlines, thinning crowns, and full baldness?
Yes to all three. Whether you're a Norwood 2 with a slightly receding temple or a Norwood 7 starting from zero, SMP can restore the appearance of a full, close-shaved head of hair.
What about FUT or FUE transplant scars?
SMP is one of the most effective solutions for scar camouflage. Pigment is placed directly into and around the scar tissue to blend it seamlessly with the surrounding scalp. Many of Jim's clients come specifically for this.
How long does SMP last?
Results typically last several years. Factors like sun exposure and skin type affect longevity. At Lasting Impressions SMP, every treatment includes a complimentary 1-year touch-up to keep your results looking sharp.
Is there any downtime?
Minimal. Some redness in the first 24–48 hours is normal. Most clients are back to their routine the next day.
